Michelle is a local Houstonian and fellow Lumberjack of Stephen F. Austin State University, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with her Bachelor of Science in Interior Design in 2012. She first came to Collaborative Design Group in 2014 where she began as an intern and worked her way to interior designer after a short time.

 

After moving back to the Houston area in 2020, Michelle rejoined the CDG team at the beginning of 2021 with open arms. She is currently working as Senior Interior Designer, she also helps with policy and procedures under the Design Manager.  Michelle wears many hats, but is always willing to pitch in where needed. She thrives in a fast paced team environment, and works well under tight deadlines.

 

Her favorite part about design is the ability to create a space for clients where the end result is something they never could have imagined themselves, and yet something they cannot imagine themselves without.

 

In her spare time, Michelle enjoys spending time with friends and family, babysitting, planning and hosting parties, and of course cuddling up at the end of a long day with her mini Australian Shepherd named Rowdy.
